I am talking about the port in rear frame where you took the pump off. When you put the aux valve on demand you are blocking flow so any air you hear leaking is from a problem area. Another thing with those pumps is the short suction tube between pump and filter housing. If you want to do things correctly, you remove the filter and the retainer filter fits into inside so you can install the tube after you have the pump bolted back on tractor but before you tighten it down. That little lip seal the tube goes through is usually in need of replacing and can be tricky to get in without damaging it. I had my own little driver made for that job. For me it just goes with a pump replacement or removal job.
