Something else to look at. If your ampmeter is the main power source for ignition, then look for a loose terminal on the ampmeter but that usually shows up along with a very erratic ampmeter needle movement. To serperate electrical from fuel problems you can use a small can of propane to squirt into the carb when it starts acting up. If it smooths out then it's fuel related, if not the it's electrical related! T_Bone
