Plows can be very particular to how they are hitched. Especially fully mounted plows. Converting from one hitch style to another will be nothing but headaches. sometimes there are differences with the same hitch. I have heard some guys say plows designed for the 400 fast hitch will not work right with a 706 era fast hitch...but I have no direct experience Now if the plow is a more modern semi mount (60s on up) the main difference will be the crossbar, which the proper 3 point one will easily be found in a junkyard. A fasthitch crossbar on these newer plows might work for cat 1 if the flexible prongs are removed, but you'd have to see what modifications may be possible.
