I had this same question. I took the brake drums, expanders, bull pinion retainer, and new pads to my machinist. He measured everything and machined all braking surfaces as well as the outside mating surface of the drum. I don't know how much he took off. He did keep the two sides separate and requested I don't interchange components from side to side.
They work perfect and will lock the tires up.
I/we could find no measurements of what the new components started out as.
