I have some date codes as follows: Transmission Housing 7-26-R Transmission top plate 2-3-R Rear Axle housing 7-12-R Torque tube 7-22-R Engine 12-21-S I can not find a stamped number on the engine. I located a flat machined surface on the block below the number one spark plug but I do not see any numbers. I found reproduction grilles but my center section is only 17" tall instead of 18.5" like it lists for a Super C. Did all Super C's use the taller grille or is mine a C that was decalled as a Super?
