I have a 300 utility that the pto drive gear in the center of the tractor that runs off of the main drive shaft is missing about 4 teeth and wasn't even bolted in When I found out why pto didn't work. It looks like if I can get the pto spline to go a 1/2 " towards the rear of the tractor that gear will come out. I just can't figure out how to get it back without tearing up bearings holding that part of the pto in. I will take some pics in the morning and post them. Thanks for any insight.

If impossible to place tractor under cover, be sure to cover air stack and exhaust pipe. Drain radiator and engine block. To avoid gum content collections, drain both fuel tanks and carburetor. Leave radiator and fuel caps slightly loose to protect gaskets. Block tractor up to remove weight from tires and to keep tires from contact with moist floor.
