I agree that it could be a fouled plug. But I've also seen that happen on older Europian cars when the part of the points arm that rides on the cam wore down. You needed to lube the points cam or it would happen soon after a tune up. So check your points for ware and gap. If this is the case then a new set of points is in order. Or at least a cleaning and regap. HTH Dave
