One wire from the Amp meter to one switch terminal. (choose the Amp guage terminal not connected to the starter switch) All other light wires attach to the other switch terminal. There are two issues to wach out for. There may have been a charg control switch on it. If the original switch has 4 positions, there is one wire going to the wiring harness and from there to the generator F terminal. That wire cannot be used for anything. If you have a voltage regulator on it, and if it is charging, that gen wire will be already disconnected at the generator. The lights are grounded at the lamp assembly, so one wire goes to each from the switch. Jim
