I just purchased a Farmall A, with a serial number of FAA 182963. My problem is I have a book and it list 1946 tractors from 146700 to 182693 and 1947 tractors from 182964 to 198298. I'm sure it is a misprint but how. Could it be that I purchased the last tractor manufacture in 1946. It would be neat to know that. I purchased from a dealer that listed it as a 1947. Any help would be appreciated.
