Jay,the end of the pto shaft in the tranny may be worn some.Pull the assembly out and remove a couple of the stell thin "washers",for lack of I dont know what they really are called.Or you may need to replace the little ball in there that holds the thing in gear.At least I think its like that on a H.I do know that a few years back we had took out the pto on my M for something and laso a couple of those "washers" and that fixed the jumping out problem we had.
