Lo-boy, The D21Y plugs are hotter than either the D18 or D15. The previous owner (or repair shop) probably installed those due to fuel fouling. Champions seem to have a problem with this. As long as you aren't working the tractor very hard, the D21 plugs will be fine. You might want to switch to Autolites or AC's instead, just ask the counterman at the parts house to cross reference the numbers for you and get the correct plug for your application. My 2¢, Phil
