Well Wardner, I hate to say it, but I think you've entered into a good old fashined pi$$ing match. Nobody wins. Sad part is, Guys like him go around, sometimes get these tractors for nothing, and try to part them out. To have such low prices on some parts, He must have gotten the tractor cheap, so it must have been junk to begin with, Otherwise it would have went high enough that he couldn't justify buying it. And I hate this logic, but junk tractors really only have a place in the scrap yard, anyway. Good parts tractors, and sometimes even good running tractors that get torn down for parts, get bought by usually reputable people and the tractors have good parts that are useable on them. Yep, us midwesterners are blessed with plentiful parts tractors and Salvage yards. Thankfully, I don't need too many parts, and I have a few places not too far away I can deal with. I don't have any good answers for you. I think I understand your frustration, though. Only hope I can offer is that if his business is as bad as it sounds, he will eventually go away. If he's the A$$ that he sounds like, he's had to turn to e-bay to keep his business going, as locals have figued him out and won't deal with him. Good luck. -Andy

The General GG was made by the Cleveland Tractor Company (Cletrac) of Cleveland, Ohio. Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
