I think a carburetor would be borderline for me. If he wrote that it came from a running tractor I would still anticipate a rebuild kit. Any sheetmetal, items with glass, or most electrical parts have high risk. That would come primarily from shipping damage for which he is well known. I see Marty as pretty much untrainable so I don't expect his shipping skills will improve. Someday he may actually have a competent shipping department staffed by others.
I buy alot of Fast Hitch components. He has sent me at least six or seven 350-450-460-560 rock shafts. It seems like every tractor I work on now gets a front Fast Hitch so I need alot of misc FH components. I don't want to spend $300-$500 plus freight for a complete hitch, most of which I won't use. The bail (hoop, as he calls it) that I wanted will be used to make an anchor, outrigger, FH socket receiver for the front winch on my 660. I could bend something up but I like using factory parts when I can. It's also why I almost always use IH tie-rod hydraulic cylinders. I like keeping it in the family.
Marty's feedback rating is too high for him to lose his privileges. Most people aren't looking to start a fight, especially with someone who is so irrational. To be honest, I never thought my recent bidding and communication efforts with Marty would turn out the way they have. He made a tactical error by bringing in his account rep. They turned the tables on him.

With Ben, anyway, I can tell! He'll be busy working and I’m handing him tools and he says, "give me that..." and I’ve already got it in his hand or "hand me that....."and I’ve got the portable light right where he needed it placed to see. "Run in the house and get me a...."as I open th
