AG in IN,
eBay notified me this week that my two recently opened accounts cannot be used to stage an end run around being banned. If I use these accounts to win more of Marty's auctions, I will face sanctions. I suppose that means all accounts (3) will be terminated and I won't be able to re-establish a new account. These were form letters and probably obligatory.
As I noted in a previous post, I think Marty is untrainable. He will never gain fluency with the nomenclature of various tractor parts. But I don't think he will short change returned shipping charges again. That practice cost him more than $150 in my case and maybe much more if eBay wants to investigate. If some compliance committee wants to go at Marty, he could be out thousands.
I do praise eBay for policing its turf. But it is hard to get their attention. When Marty would send a partial refund, it would effectively close the case. I couldn't find a way to re-open it or effectively appeal his action. Marty's recent troubles began when he brought in his account rep.

Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
