I think its too much to ask. I think its way too much to ask. If I was Marty, I wouldnt sell to you if you had a gun to my head. Its simple, you cause headaches for him. He dont want your headaches so he is making a choice not to sell to you. You are forgetting, thats his right. He may be streaching the truth by saying you are the only one that has a problem but look at it differently, as you said most of the stuff you buy sells for mininum bid of $10. Big heavy parts..... for $10..... with a headache because of the buyer. Remember you said it yourself, if it dont sell, he just throws it in the scrap pile and gets 10 cents a pound with no hassle. Why would he want a hassle from you for a couple bucks? He has plenty of schmucks buying what he has for sale.
I will tell you how to bump him of Ebay if you want to. I will tell you how to buy from him the back door way now that you are banned. I will even teach you how to rip him off the proper way so when Ebay looks into it you come out smelling like a rose and he looks like a criminal as long as it makes you feel like you are getting your pound of flesh. I will do that because I respect all you do here to help people with information. But I wont do it because I think you are in the right. I think you got a screw loose. Marty has some problems, some serious problems. But I think you have more for wanting to do business with him knowing all that. For wanting to continue doing business with him knowing his cheese is not fully on the cracker. My advice though is to let it go. Dont buy from him. People boycott shopping at places like WalMart for much lesser reasons. Think about that. And you continue just because you have alot of tractors that use parts he sells? Thats crazy talk. I would smash my tractors (or any hobby equipment) into bits if somebody like Marty was my affordable lifeline for hobby parts. Life is too short, dont let greed control your life like that.
Just my opinion. Sorry if it comes off harsh but no other way to say it.

Today's Featured Article - The Cletrac General GG and the BF Avery A - A Bit of History - by Mike Ballash. This article is a summary of what I have gathered up from various sources on the Gletrac General GG and the B. F. Avery model A tractors. I am quite sure that most of it is accurate. The General GG was made by the Cleveland Tractor Company (Cletrac) of Cleveland, Ohio. Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
