Even though I live on a farmstead that goes back centuries, I am smack dab in the middle of suburbia. I can think of only two IH dealers in New England. There are no decent ag salvage yards. That means outfits that bring in new inventory. There's a guy in Maine who has about 40 engines laying in the weeds and mud and he thinks he is a salvage operator. Those same engines have been there for twenty years.
I like Mike Bunck (Steel Wheel Ranch, Everest, KS) and a few others but their prices are double to quintuple of Marty's. And many won't break apart an assembly such as a Fast Hitch.
Marty usually lists about 150-200 auctions on each tractor. These tractors have not been picked over. One can go down his listings, file what he wants in his "saved list", and bid them without having to negotiate price or waste fuel. Yes, Marty has alot of negative attributes and attitudes so one has to be careful. I learned the hard way that you don't buy something that can split Marty's urine-poor packaging. It eventually put me on Marty's blocked bidders list but eBay made him send me another one for no cost.
