When you surf the web, try the Farmall "H" website, all the serial numbers are there.
I have a 1950 "H". I agree they are tough, a little under powered by todays standards but still a handy unit to have around.
I do about 100 acres of hay for myself, even some custom, with one "H" and 135 MF Diesel... keep about 20-25 cattle.
