There is no in-line filter that will do anymore than what the sediment bowl does, provided that the fine mesh screen is still in place in that sediment bowl. Just watch the glass bowl. When the crud starts to collect in the bottom, remove it and clean. Pull that round fine mesh screen out also and clean it. Eventually most of the crud that is in the tank now will be flushed out and will have been captured in the sediment bowl.
