I had the same thing happen on my 706. If I touched the brakes it would take right back off. What fixed mine was to remove the MCV and rebuild it. Kit was about $80. I also had no pressure on a gage when I put a gage where the sensor is located at the back side of the MCV. It should read about 15-20 PSI with the clutch engaged and Zero PSI when you disengage the clutch. The linkage needs to be adjusted properly on the T/A also. With the tractor running and you shift the T/A lever the gage will surge quickly to 0 then return to 15-20 PSI if all is correct. I got this advise from this site when I had the problem.
