The Farmall H through the Farmall 450 all used the same basic governor design. Some of the parts will interchange, some of them will not. The internal linkages wear out, the flyweights wear out, and sometimes the bearings wear out. I'm pretty sure all of the individual parts are still available through Case-IH, so the best thing you can do is remove the governor from the tractor, take it all apart, and then inspect it and replace all of the parts that have excessive wear. Case-IH does not offer a rebuild kit. About 10 or 12 years ago I priced all of the individual internal parts, and it totalled up to over $600. If there is anybody out there who DOES offer a complete rebuild kit, the price would be at least $600 if not higher.
