He is correct, but was pretty rude about it. They NEVER came with plastic seats like that. They were always cloth/canvas type seats. Guy Fay's "Originality Guide Farmall Letter Series Tractors" may provide some insight as well as the parts manual. If you don't have that one you better put it on your Christmas list. It is an awesome guide to what these tractors should/might have looked like coming out of the plant.
