I disagree. Distillate or tractor fuel gives the tractor more power but is not volatile enough for starting. It is also a bit of a nuisance. When you forget to switch back to gasoline to kill it, like when you run out of fuel, you have to drain the carb and if it is a hand crank tractor you may have to pull it to get it started.
