At a show this weekend the float on my F-14 somehow got a hole in the side.I could have understood had it been a old float but it was new and the only thing I can think of is if somehow while in transit the float rubbed the side of the carb and put the hole there.Anyways after looking for someone to solder it back up,which needless to say I couldnt,I tried to melt a plastic spoon and seal the hole.well after several attempts to get it just right it worked. She started up and this morning when i went out to see if it held it did.I will order a new one but was just wondering if anyone else has done anything strange and unusaul to get back going again.
