Bill, There are actually three different catigories or phases of the Super M, each with different identifying points. However the one simple way to tell is all Super M's were equipped with disc brakes whereas all M's (except for a few late experimental tractors) were equipped with band brakes. If yours has disc brakes it is a Super M, if yours has band brakes it is 99% certin a regular M. Harold H
