So far as I can tell, the parts should fit U.S. built tractors. The Farmall M, AM, Super AM, Super AMD, Farmall AM-7, AW-7, AW-7 Diesel and A554 (and probably others) all had the same gearbox frame, at least insofar as fitting a gearbox lid goes. I have the original single piece gearbox lid from the my 39 Farmall M in a shed. Our old AW-7 did not have three point linkage and we bought a second hand set off a wrecked A554 and fitted it. The problem I have is in trying to find an Australian built tractor with the same size gearbox as a Farmall H. Unfortunately, Case IH do not list any AM, Super AM, AW-7 etc. on their parts catalogue, so I cannot compare by that method. The search continues…
