It'll take more than a new steering gear to get rid of the death wobble, but you need to get that gear off first. Probably should start by supporting the front of the tractor, and then removing the lower assembly. After that, remove the nut from on top of the steering gear, and the shaft should then drop out. If not, a little gentle persuasion with a big hammer might be in order. You will need to replace the bushings inside the bolster, most likely will also nee to the worn spots on the shaft built baxk up and turned to size on a lathe.
