I have ordered a service manual so I can have a reference to help me while getting advice. I removed the remote valve unit but don't see anything obvious. I see where an elbow was recently replaced. Local dealer mechanic said he could go thru remote unit for me in less than 1/2 hour, so I guess I'll let him take a look while I have it off, although sounds like I must have something else going on. Not sure what you mean about engine being loaded by pump. I haven't noticed it loading, even when I tried pulling up on the remote lever without anything attached to try to pop loose the flow divider as instructed. Didn't hear the pump squeal either. When I dumped the fluid I was using the 3 pt. but didn't have a load on it at the exact time of rupture. Hopefully that book will come in this week and i can troubleshoot the system.
