I brush hog with a worn C. Uses one quart of oil in two hours. Smokes like the devil. (ie. not factory HP) I pull a 5 ft brush hog and have no trouble in grass or 1-inch sprouts. It is a little light on power in plum thickets. An H will pull 6 ft but get ready to scratch it up if you are going into big brush. You can also break your exhaust manifold on low hanging branches seemingly just brushing the muffler. It is also real aggravating for a branch to pull out the coil wire in 8 ft tall thick brush. Also watch for leaves covering the grill. And make sure you have the rabbit wire on the inside of the grill or you will spend a lot of time walking from a hot tractor and cleaning the radiator. These are my experiences, results may vary with the competence of the operator. The good news is you are up high and don't get the beating the guys on Fords and new tractors do from debris thrown forward. And you get to hear the beautiful sound of a Farmall working under load.
