I just re-fitted the carburetor to my Farmall M. A Stahlwille 180a Series short ring spanner will fit. It is a 9/16 nut. The 180a spanner are a military specification spanner (I believe). They are quite short and are cranked.
Stahlwille 41603234 1/2" x 9/16", 180a series, Individual double ended ring spanner.
The outside nut has to be undone with an open jawed spanner.
