Went to the Thresherman's Reunion in Pontiac, Ill this past Sunday and saw an amazing tractor rig. It consisted of two Super M NF hooked in tandem, with the front end of the second M jacked up in the air to get the wheels off the ground. Between these two tractors were absolutely no controls except for a kill switch wire for the 2nd M and remote hydraulics from the lead M--no over-center clutch or throttle. Now, the lead M had an AC engine bolted to left side of the frame and attached by shaft and chain to the M's PTO. Appears to supply an extra 15-20 HP to the rig through the PTO shaft. There was a throttle control on the steering column of the M. I guess the AC engine was started through the PTO as there was no starter motor and no way fit a hand crank on it. Oh, both Ms had rear duals that shook when the driver took off with it. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to talk with the owner, watch it at work, or take pictures. I wonder what it is capable of pulling. Chris
