I doubt it, our 47 H had one of those. We used it until the short tube almost almost fell off -- another reason I'm deaf. Been too long ago, but I remember that the barrel wasn't much shorter than its replacement, but the replacements tube was longer like most of them are today. The new one was a vast improvement. I also don't remember if the 39--? ones had the distinctive sound, but I think they did, and that the difference was mostly the top pipe -- I may be wrong, and there may have been an intermediate one with the longer barrel and short pipe. In 1947 I was 9 years old and really did not pay attention to our tractors until I started driving them when I was 12.
