As written in an earlier, my grandfather bought a Farmall F12 on 7th September 1934 for £195.
I found another old account book, which shows the following:
12 February 1941 "From International Harvester £115, being sale price of Farmall 12 tractor." This was the trade-in price when he changed from the F12 to a Farmall H.
Still no sign of any record of the serial number at the farm, but it may yet turn up…
