But it didn't start that way, went to start the 460 and it wouldnt go in gear, just ground. Tried to start in reverse with clutch forward, tractor started to move! Stepped on brakes and tractor died, clutch still in. Visions of big repair bill came to mind. Lubed zerks, oiled pins, prayed. Tried again, still stuck. Got mad and put it in 5th, hit the button, started right up! Used it for an hour with no proablems, the only thing I can think of is the clutch disk rusted on to the flywheel and preasure plate. 2nd was the right axel outer bearing that sounded bad, turned out the axel had a bad spot and the wheel was moving arround, when I turned the center the other way to use in 30 inch rows the noise quit! $50 bucks off my parts bill! BTW, check those rim wedge bolts if your tractor ever had water in the tires, some of mine were rusted half way through.. for what it's worth FWIW kev
