The 300 is HEAVILY based on the H design.
It's "bigger" only in that it is slightly longer due to the TA section that was added ahead of the transmission, and slightly taller due to the hood styling.
Underneath the hood, many of the components are identical to the H. The main differences are the TA, live PTO, and the hydraulic system.
If you park the two side-by-side you can see the family resemblance.
