Mike1972chev, I remember the years after the war and car stuff (born in '37). As I recall, nearly every car had 16" wheels in those days; then in mid-50s I think it was when 15" became popular in trying to make cars lower. I think they even went to 14" about 1960 or so....I may be wrong on the years...when car makers made cars as low and wide as possible. Pontiac "Wide Trac" looked wider than semi trucks! I haven't seen an #8 with 15", but I'm sure they are "out there". I've always said "Don't worry about the "correct police", just mount 'em on and get plowing! LA in WI
