I found one that was about the size of the worm gear on the outside and put it in. The first one was a little too tight (the steering had little to no play but the wheel was hard to turn), so I looked in my random washers can and found a slightly thinner one of about the same diameter and put that in and it has been fine since then. It has a couple of degrees of play but turns easily. I think the thickness you ned would depend on how much wear your gear and gearbox have. Zach
