So I bought this tractor on E-B-A-YYYY because the steering and shifter are super tight. Also the bearings in the pulley are nice and smooth. Also, it was sitting out side and it moved so I knew it had not been sitting outside long or it would have been full of ice and would not have moved. Well I got it home and I was right about one thing. The tractor had always been greased and well maintained. The challenge is the engine. It looks like someone took the head off about 20 - 30 years ago and let the engine sit in a damp shed. Too bad because the crtankahaft has .002 rods and STD mains. I removed the pulley to get the engine out and what I can see of the gears in the transmission are real nice. I has that old black oil that everyone used in those old tractors. It coats like tar. I do have an original hand crank as well. The starter has an updated starter drive. The ring gear is beautiful. SO many positives. IT has a seat like a SW6TA. Unfortunately there are some parts missing. So when I add it all up between some missing parts and the condition of the engine this one is going out the door in pieces. I have no idea what the market for W6 parts is like. Is there a demand for W6 parts out there?
