Sam: You did not mention if you preheated the engine with the glow plugs. If you are gettting smoke out of the exhaust pipe,you are getting fuel to the cylinders,although you may have to bleed the fuel line a few times in order to get all of the air out of the fuel system. I do not suggest you use ether with an engine that has glow plugs as this can cause major damage. If glow plugs are working, preheat engine for approx.1 minute and then hit starter. Good luck
