Letter series is my passion, I have 10 M's and keep up with my neighbors' john deeres working my farm. They are: 2 Cub 1 A 1 SA 1 B 1 C 1 SC 2 H 1 SH 1 '39 M w/old style Farmhand loader 5 M, 1 w/M&W hand clutch 2 MD 1 SM lpg 1 SMTAD 1 O-6 1 100 1 300 1 F-12 1 F-14 1 1937 JD A, unstyled, factory round spoke 1 1938 JD B styled 1 A/C B 1 TD-18A 1 CAT 12 I keep the johnny poppers around back in the weeds. The A is very collectible, so when some jerk asks about green paint, I show him it's not that I don't know any better, I do know better and run my reds. If they are JD boys they try to steal my old A. But it is my example of what I don't want or need. We did have a nice 12 tractor parade for a family reunion about 10 yrs ago. The IH B has not been run since that day. Sometimes a passerby will stop and ask if I have a tractor for sale. I usually slap my forehead and say "OH NO! Does it look like I have too many?" I tell my wife you need one for each implement. She rightly says I need more implements. When I tell her it's OK, they don't all run, she says it's small consolation. Thanks for the interest. Like I said, I love them all, and obviously need a BN, SM gas, 200, 400, F-20, and F-30. Then there are cane tractors.
