I have a '40 Harley Davidson for which I have no key. I use it alot in the summer. When I park it I turn of the gas, advance the spark, and fully choke the carburetor. Even someone familiar with the motorcycle, would have difficulty "unlocking" that combination with his adrenalin pumping. I don't leave it unattended for more than 15 minutes however. If I were you, I would just take the rotor from the distributer and hide it somewhere on the tractor.
