Cub Wiring

Can anyone help me with where to find a schematic of the wiring on a 1953 Cub? I can't figure out why the current 6-volt system shows a discharge on the ammeter, I'm thinking the wiring is wrong? Doesn't a 6-volt system need to be pos. grounded. Thanks to the help I have received so far, but I'm still scracthing my head to make sure this Cub is done right!
