I was the one asking about the Tach drive. I finally found the newer gear, the one with a metal shaft at a case dealership, Hoober in Mcallister. Cost me 62.62 plus shipping ~15.00
They also said that the new housing would cost about 150.00 and not sure if he could get that either. So I am going to take my old housing and new gear to a machine shop and let them either shave off the new metal gear or widen the old housing to fit the new gear.
Not sure which is better, as I hope to never have to deal with this again :)
