No, the washer was dish shaped with a clip about 1/16" wide bent out from the back and could only go one way, away from the nut. The washer was very tough and didn't look like it could be bent. My manual doesn't even show a nut or washer. The one at the IH parts counter didn't eaither. All it shows is threads at the end of the drive gear. Should I take it off and try to bend the washer?
