I havea set of off-branded fenders for my H. Not sure where I got them, or what they"re for. Had some brackets welded up to hold them outboard, about 4" or so from the tires. They sit just above the outboard grease fitting. Point is, it is still a tight fit, to climb past them and onto the seat. The good part is, they sit in the ideal spot to hold onto as you drive. They"re just exactly at arms length. I recently cut them down, and welded 1" EMT electrical tubing around the top to make them home-made clam-shells. I"d send a picture if I could.
