Gene, The shipping weight of a Farmall 560 diesel tricycle was 5898 lbs with 6.00-16 front tires and 15.5-38 rear tires. Nebraska test # 699; 59.46 max belt hp, 54.86 max db hp, corrected for sea level: 62.60 max belt hp, 58.67 max db hp. If the tractor has been sitting over a year, assuming it was running when parked, I would not trust the fuel. Diesel fuel grows algi and such and has probably condensed water. I would drain the fuel and put in new filters and fuel. You will then have to blead the fuel system. Be sure you have a good hot battery. Hold the glow plug button till the glow plugs get hot and hit the starter. With luck it will roar to life. DO NOT use ether because the glow plug engine has pre combustion chambers and the use of ether can cause engine damage. After you first do the above and get it running, all furture starts should be easy because with good glow plugs and a good hot battery the 282 is a very good starting engine. Harold H
