Yea Melonreo, But YOUR tractor is WAY MORE complete than the one being advertised.(NICE ride,BTW !!!! I like her ! ;)
Yours is a GREAT candidate to be made "perfect","showy" if you would ever want to do so.
The one on EBAY looks like it would be next to impossible to ever get some of the CORRECT parts to make it a "$40,000.00" tractor like the advertiser says it could be.
In order to actually "fetch" that kinda money for a restored tractor,I would say it would have to be P E R F E C T !!!!! AND have every little detail as so the "correct police" COULD NOT even write you a citation or warning ticket !!!!!
I have been a part of some "concours" style restorations, and I am here to say most people selling stuff like this DO NOT realize where the true value of the tractor comes from.Yes,a part of it is in the rarity of being only 89 ever built,BUT the biggest part is the intense LABOR it takes to make these things FLAWLESS!!!! Once this seller gets his cash,HE is out of it !!!!! Once the new owner gets it,it will be hundreds of hours getting it to actually amounting to anything!
