Ellis, I spent some time looking up regulators on the napaonline.com website. Echlin # ECH VR898 is a 12 volt universal ground regulator. It is shown to be available at the (I assume Detroit, MI warehouse, that is the one that my local store, Blissfield, Mi, uses.)
Also, ECH VR851 is for 6 Volt positive ground. it too, shows as available. The Echlin line parts are usually the more Expensive, Made in US regulators. Hope this Helps! -Andy
I am sorry about how this post looks, I hope the links work. My local NAPA guys are very helpful and somewhat familair with the farm equipment. As long as you have a good idea of what you want, at least. You Should have seen the look on the owner's face when I asked for spark plugs for my 450 Diesel! I had to look those up in their catalog and tell them what to order that time. Probably 50% of their business comes from the farmers, they know who they need to keep happy :^)
