Good job on finding the timing mark, and painting it so you can find it again.
That mark is, indeed, for top dead center on #s 1 and 4.
Sorry to say that it"s been so long since I"ve torn down a 113/123 that I don"t recognize all the parts.
To the right of the round gasket in the middle . . . the "duckhead" and the "turtlehead" gaskets, to the right of the gasket in the middle, are to seal up the potmetal block that comes up under the bottom of the shaf at each end of the crankcase. Compare them to the shape of the fit, and you"ll see where they go.
The copper ring looks like one of the crush gaskets for tightening down the valve cover.
