Yea, if you go trying to repair the diesel motor you will have more in it than another tractor. But, you could get a gas motor from a tractor yard and drop that in for less than $1000 typically depending on your area. You would be hard pressed to buy a decent replacement tractor for $1000.
If I were closer as well, I would be interested in your 350.
