There are two oil seals in the housing. You have to remove all the shafts. Then there is one pulled into that shaft area, that you pull in from the back. There is one in the bottom of the housing, pulled vertically up from below. Not too difficult to do, just awquard, but you either have to borrow the old IH seal-puller from the oldest guy at your Case-IH dealer, or have to rig up a puller of your own. I built one of all-thread, some sockets of various sizes, duct tape, wood shims, and i don't know what all. But the seals pull right up into place. I've heard that some guys install three; one they crush, the second they bend, and third times charm.
